Recently I was invited to dine at an Indian inspired/spiced infused bar and restaurant in Brisbane, called Colour Me Flavour Their modern take on fusion food is created based on recipes passed down from thousands of generations, combined with head Chef Eugene Lee's vision and expertise for his food craft. Embracing existing traditions, blurring the lines and breaking the rules creatively this creative modern mash up of food wont disappoint.
The CMF menu speaks many languages, not just limited to Indian. It incorporates science, history, humour and magic and I was blown away by the intricate and innovative food vision they embody - it's about time that Brisbane had a fusion restaurant of this calibre.
When I dine at a restaurant I look for good quality/fresh produce, tasty, unique and well presented food, impeccable service, great atmosphere and warm, knowledgable and friendly staff. CMF ticked all of these boxes and more :)
